Description

AI with Python helps students transition from block-based coding to text-based programming while developing practical skills in coding, data, and artificial intelligence.

Students learn core Python concepts and apply them through engaging, beginner-friendly projects involving data analysis and AI-inspired activities. Along the way, they gain confidence using real programming tools and workflows, learning how to read code, write programs step-by-step, and identify and fix errors through debugging.

The course encourages students to think like programmers by planning solutions before writing code, breaking problems into manageable parts, and troubleshooting independently. It provides a strong technical foundation for future studies in artificial intelligence, software development, and data science while fostering patience, persistence, and attention to detail.

This course includes:

  • Three months of hands-on coding and skills development sessions.

  • Python fundamentals, including variables, conditionals, loops, and functions.

  • Working with data and introductory AI concepts.

  • Reading, understanding, and modifying existing code.

  • Writing structured, efficient, and maintainable programs.

  • Developing problem-solving, debugging, and logical thinking skills.

  • Building confidence with real-world programming tools and workflows.

  • Prerequisites : Students should be comfortable typing and following written instructions independently and possess basic coding confidence. Completion of AI Foundations is recommended, while experience with AI Innovations or Code Adventurers will be beneficial.
