Description
AI Foundations introduces artificial intelligence in a fun, engaging, and age-appropriate way. Through hands-on projects, interactive activities, and guided discussions, students explore what AI is, how it learns from data, and where it appears in everyday life.
Using tools such as Scratch and PictoBlox, learners experiment with AI-powered projects while developing an understanding of core AI concepts, including training data, models, classification, and automation. The course also emphasizes critical thinking, helping students evaluate AI-generated results, recognize limitations, and understand the importance of privacy, fairness, and responsible AI use.
By the end of the course, students understand that AI is not “magic”, but technology created and trained by people. They develop the confidence to use AI thoughtfully, ask informed questions, and engage with emerging technologies responsibly.
