Ryan’s Voice Assisted Chess Game

Ryan is smart and curious little code explorer turning one of his favourite Sci-Fi movies into reality with his codes.

A Chess Game Completely controlled by voice.
This is where he applied his learning from Foundations of AI, Voice/Speech Recognition and how to implement such tools in to a real world multi-player game.

The development process involved the following steps:

  1. Designing the board and creating the chess pieces.
  2. Determining the positioning and movement logic for each piece.
  3. Utilizing coding blocks for sensing, speech control, looks, and motion to implement the functionality.

To operate the device, the user must say the name of the piece and the location where they want it to move.
