THE FIVE-COURSE JOURNEY
- Foundations for AI Engineers Understand how LLMs fail; select models based on capability, cost and latency; verify AI-generated work; and control operating costs.
- Context, Harness and Loop Engineering Engineer context, permissions and agent loops as first-class artefacts; write executable specifications; and expose systems over MCP.
- Agentic Systems and Retrieval Build agent architectures and RAG pipelines from primitives, select frameworks on justified grounds, and handle data safely.
- Evaluation, Reliability and Security Analyse real traces, build and calibrate evaluators, assess agent trajectories, and defend systems against prompt injection.
- Production, Governance and Capstone Operate AI systems in production, address regulatory obligations, and build and defend a complete AI engineering system.
DESIGNED FOR CORPORATE DELIVERY
Delivery can be structured as a weekly half-day format (4 hours/week) or an intensive corporate bootcamp (6 hours/day, Monday–Thursday, one course per week), with a clinic period after the bootcamp.
ASSESSMENT & CREDENTIAL
There is no unproctored written examination. At least 80% of each course’s marks are based on applied work, rising to 100% in Courses 4 and 5. Participants who successfully complete all five courses receive the AI Engineering Certificate for Software Engineers.
WHAT PARTICIPANTS DEVELOP:
- ➤
Practical capability to build and operate LLM and agent systems. - ➤
Hands-on experience with context engineering, agentic architectures, retrieval and evaluation. - ➤
Production-minded skills in reliability, security and governance. - ➤
Evidence of individual competence through supervised practical work and an oral capstone defense. - ➤
A connected portfolio of projects culminating in a complete production case.
PRACTICAL, PROJECT-BASED LEARNING
Participants learn by building, testing and presenting practical AI solutions, culminating in a production-focused capstone.
CORPORATE DELIVERY
Available in a weekly half-day format or an intensive corporate bootcamp format.
